Support for the most vulnerable children and women: the value and dignity of every child and woman is of central importance for Ultimate Hope Foundation (UHF). Work is primarily directed to the most vulnerable children who have the hardest time to exercise their rights. UHF and her partner organizations work to ameliorate the situations of these vulnerable children. UHF and her partner organizations aim to share expertise, knowledge, and experience in the field of children’s rights in an effort to improve the lives of the most vulnerable children.
Respect for others is the starting position towards the target groups, partner organizations, donors, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Respect means “tolerantly and completely respect the opinion and position of others without interference”. UHF also emphasizes that her volunteers, contacts and partner organizations all respect children’s rights in a consequent way. To this effect, UHF sets up minimum standards connected to its ethical principles and ensures that the child protection policy is known and applied by every UHF volunteer, contacts and partner organization. The ethical principles are also intrinsic to UHF’s communication and fundraising policies.
UHF responds to the local needs of the target groups, partner organizations, and institutions that represent the target groups.
UHF’s actions build further on the existing knowledge of individuals, communities, organizations and institutions. UHF does not start up its own projects, but chooses to support local initiatives. This way UHF acknowledges and respects the interests and strengths of the target groups and durable results can be booked. In our partnerships we strive for a participative and respectful dialogue that always takes into account the values and ethical principles of the partner organizations and of UHF.
UHF strives for a society in which children and women rights are respected and programs implemented in a durable and structural way through the creation of alternative society models, prevention, and lobby work.
UHF wants to contribute to the creation of a larger political base for children’s rights from a universal rights approach. In the demand for respect for children and women rights, UHF always involves the community. UHF works on these rights awareness with the community, so that the community will help to prevent the violation of their children and women rights.
UHF also involves the community in the social re-integration of vulnerable children. Sustainability also means that from the start, as part of a transition strategy, technical, institutional, social-cultural and financial durability is strived for, both in partner organizations and in UHF. The development of the community also definitely has to be ecologically sustainable.
In the collaboration with partner organizations and external communication, we pay attention to transparency, based on mutual trust. The partners as well as external parties should always have access to relevant data and information from UHF. UHF also respects the privacy and confidential information of both the partners and beneficiaries.
This way, we guarantee a culture of trust between UHF, the general public, and the partners. The commitments and obligations need to be sustained. Reliability allows for a pleasant work environment and creates a serene base for the future, to which every stakeholder contributes.
UHF is continuously working on the expansion and deepening of the knowledge and expertise of the organization and its volunteers to better fulfil the expectations of the partner organizations and the target groups.
We attract specialists and invest as much as possible. This is done in addition to education and training for our volunteers, as well as external expertise and custom applications. UHF also works to continuously self-evaluate our developing organization.
We focus on the people that others forget. People in poverty. People who face discrimination. People whose voices are ignored.
